[7] Which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he comes in from the field, “Come at once and sit down to eat”? [8] Will he not rather say to him, “Prepare my supper, and gird yourself and serve me, until I have eaten and drunk; and afterward you may eat and drink”? [9] Does he owe thanks to that servant because he has done what he was commanded? [10] So you also, when you have done everything that you were commanded, should say, “We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.”

😳Hmm, Lord.

👆🏽 This is the Lord Jesus speaking.

 We don't need to expect any thanks for what we do for You.

If we receive thanks, all the better.

But if we don't, that's okay.

🎊🙌🏽If we serve, we're simply doing what we're meant to do.

🎊🙌🏽 Help us, Father, not to expect recognition or thanks, otherwise we'll end up frustrated, discouraged, embittered, bitter, and far from our goal.
