[28] But ye are they who have persevered with me in my temptations. [29] And I appoint unto you, as my Father has appointed unto me, a kingdom, [30] that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 

* *Persevere*: This means not giving up and maintaining your efforts consistently.

* *Trials*: Difficulty or suffering, adversity, misfortune, affliction, setback.

💥They believed in You, Lord. They did not abandon You.  They believed in your word and gave up everything.

When the people of Israel rejected you, they were with you.

They were the friends you could count on, the ones you could rely on.

They were not just disciples, but friends. You were not just their teacher, but their role model, their friend.

* *To dispose of the kingdom in favor of*: This means to transfer the authority, sovereignty, or inheritance of a kingdom to someone. Acting "in favor of" emphasizes that this transfer is not merely an administrative act, but an act of kindness, grace, or privilege bestowed upon the chosen person.

💥 Wow! They did not serve you in vain, Lord.

They have the heavenly kingdom as their reward, and they reign.

You owe no one; you are faithful.

We, too, believe that we do not serve you in vain.

 We did not abandon our past lives in vain.

Help us not to lose faith despite the trials.
