[37] For in this the saying is true: “One sows and another reaps.” [38] I sent you to reap what you have not worked for; others have done the work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.

...refers to the act of planting the Word of God or preparing the spiritual ground for a future harvest. Represents an initial investment that requires time and patience before the fruit (the harvest) can be gathered.

* *Harvest*: Greek (therizo) ||| Latin (metere) ||| Hebrew (qatsar)

.....It is the culmination of a cycle where one reaps the fruits of the word sown previously. The act of harvesting the fruit of prior spiritual work.

.....To entrust someone with a function, a mission, or a message to someone else.

* *Work*: Greek (kopiao) ||| Latin (laborare) ||| Hebrew (amal)

.....To exert oneself, to apply oneself with effort to a difficult task. Work is generally aimed at utility, a specific result, or compensation.

🌸💥Your goal is for us to work as a team.

It is You who distributes the tasks, Lord.

Some have been commissioned to plow and sow.

Some have been commissioned to harvest.

Still others have been commissioned to care for and guide the process of transformation.

🌸🙌🏽 Help us, Lord, not to usurp Your place, that is, the place of the owner of the field.

This is Your field, this is Your church; we are Your collaborators.

🌸❤️‍🔥May Your humility be our portion so that we may do what You want us to do while giving You glory. ❤️‍🔥🙌🏽
