[13] Be vigilant, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong.
🎊We are on earth, but on a battlefield.

We have been sent to establish the reign of God our Father, but a fierce enemy is present and won't let us accomplish our mission.

This enemy existed on earth before us.
He is very cunning and very wicked.
He hates us beyond measure.
He is jealous of us, jealous of God's love for us, jealous of God's mercy towards us.

God asks us to be vigilant and firm.

🌺 Father, help us never to forget that we have an enemy who wants to destroy us by every means, an enemy who studies us and knows our weak points.

Help us to resist him, help us to stand firm on every occasion.

Thank you for your Holy Spirit on whom we rely for guidance.

🎊 May your assurance, your firmness be the sharing of humanity O God.

Holy Spirit of God, help us to live as Jesus lived on earth.
