When we notice that we are faltering (spiritually, emotionally, financially, physically, etc.), and we cry out to you, you come to our aid. When we recognize that we are falling (vice, sin, illness, offense, bitterness, criticism, perdition, confusion, despair, abandonment of faith, etc.) and we call out to you, you always come. You use many ways to save us (you can speak to us directly through an audible or inner voice, you can speak to us through someone, you speak to us through your words or a message, you heal us, you restore us, you surprise us beyond our expectations.) Life can pull us back like an arrow in a bow that people pull back with force, but you, our Savior, come to stop the hand that pulls us back. When that hand is stopped, the arrow is propelled very far. You take advantage of situations to glorify yourself, to bring us into our destiny, to propel us forward, to show us that it is you we truly need. Let us not be ashamed to call on God, to cry for help when we see ourselves regressing or returning to what we vomited. God does not judge, he does not label, he does not make us feel guilty. God lifts us up, advises us, transforms us. God does not love sin, but gave his life out of love for sinners.
