[17] For it is better, if it is God's will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

💦☀️ We need your strength to defend our belief in you despite all opposition and misunderstanding.

We have chosen to follow you, so we must accept all the consequences that go with it. 

Give us the strength to defend our faith with respect, love, gentleness, and wisdom.

Help us also, Lord, to be good role models in the faith.
We do not want to defend our faith but by being two-faced.
