📖❤️‍🔥Hebrews 5:11-14 PDV2017

[11] We have much to say about this, but it is difficult to explain. You have become dull-witted. [12] You had the opportunity to become teachers, but now you need someone to teach you the first truths of God’s teachings again. You are no longer able to eat solid food, but you need milk. [13] Anyone who continues to drink milk is an infant, so they are not qualified to discuss what is right. [14] Solid food is for the mature, who have trained their consciences to distinguish between good and evil.

* *Dull-witted*:

Translates the Greek word nothros.

Spiritual disinterest, hardening, stagnation.

 * *Training the conscience* (Nōthroi tais akoais): a voluntary process by which an individual refines their perception of good and evil.

Training makes the conscience vigilant: it reacts more quickly to compromise.

* *Made men*: the Greek teleios denotes something that has reached its full growth or its final purpose. Always contrasted with nēpios (the small child, the infant).

💥 Father, the cause of slowness may be due to returning to the things we had left behind.

Slowness in understanding may be due to attachment again to the works of the flesh.

Father, we pray that we may be mature enough to assimilate the consistent nourishment you send us.

The ability to assimilate your word, your will, your revelations, your requirements will come from having trained ourselves to practice your word, to merge with your word, and to live it fully.

 The mature person is not the perfect person, but the person who has developed spiritual sensitivity, sensitivity to Your Spirit, and submits to It.

The mature person is the one who is built in spirit but dead in the flesh. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

The mature person understands events and adapts. The spiritual infant, the nepios, is subject to events. 😟🥺

The mature person fully manifests the nature of God, regardless of the circumstances.

💥🙌🏽 Holy Spirit of God, make us mature in Christ. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
