[27] John answered, “A person can receive only what is given them from heaven. [28] You yourselves can testify that I said, ‘I am not the Messiah, but I have been sent ahead of him.’”

* *Receive*: Greek (lambanein) ||| Latin (accipere) ||| Hebrew (laqach)

...describes the act of becoming the recipient of something (object, message, influence) coming from the outside. Latin sees reception as acceptance, Greek as welcoming or grasping, and Hebrew as acquiring or transmitting.

* *Give*: Greek (didōmi) ||| Latin (dare) |||  Hebrew (natan)

...God's Side (Giving): Sovereign initiative, release of a blessing or power. The voluntary transfer of a good, a right, or information to another.

* *Heaven*: Greek (ouranos) ||| Latin (caelum) ||| Hebrew (shamayim)

.....The "heaven" here is the Supreme Tribunal:

It is the origin of John the Baptist's calling. It is the origin of Jesus' primacy. It designates that which is elevated, whether on the physical, cosmological, or spiritual plane.

.....He assures that the word has not changed. The one who stands between an event and those who have not seen it, to guarantee its reality.

Help us not to usurp an identity that is not ours.

Help us to know our place in the chain.

Help us to know our role.

🌸 Help us not to create a calling, a vocation that is not ours.

🌸🎊 We do not desire to be in falsehood, but in truth.

🌸🎊 We believe that no one came to this earth empty and that we are all called to receive from you and manifest what we have received.  ❤️‍🔥
